Beetlejuice!

I'm getting more into my current project (it's for the company Diesel) and recently found an awesome Diesel advert, which lead me onto beetles. I've found all sorts of images and found they can be pretty interesting creatures, as well as rather beautiful and inspiring :)



How pretty is this lil' critter? What I want to do is design a limited edition capsule collection for Diesel, incorporating beetles (their colours, patterns, shells...) and the 1950s, which I'm really into at the moment. I'm also going to watch Beetlejuice later and see if that can help me with my project. I found the below picture on google, and really love how they've given the main character a modern re-vamp, but still kept the witchy theme in mind.



A mile away from the brights I've been seeing on the beetles, but oh so gothic-glam, which I absolutely adore. Plus, you gotta LOVE the boots ♥♥♥
